Work statement:

Why are some historical objects collected and recorded while others are forgotten? What are the forgotten histories beneath the surface? My prints/drawings on paper act as a transcript of these histories. To take away, to smudge, to rip, and to erase an image illuminates the states between memory and decay. My performances, paintings, and installations follow the works on paper where an archive is asserted while at the same time it is corroded, doubled, negated, and forgotten again.
